Eighteenth century newspaper with commentary on the US Constitution and civil disturbance.
Description
One of the publishers of this newspaper, Josiah Meigs, was the second president of the University of Georgia. It contains articles on the US Constitution, then awaiting ratification. Page three has several pieces of news of civil disturbance across the United States. That same page has an article about Massachusett's convention to ratiify the Constitution.
