This item is an issue of the Brimstone Chronicle published in June 1976. The Brimstone Chronicle, along with other newspapers such as the Cobb News and the Cobb Community News, were relatively short-lived publications that existed during the 1970s. These publications expressed the needs and viewpoints of the black community in Cobb county and its neighboring counties during the long civil rights movement era.
