Description
Thomas P. Pusateri was born in Scranton, Pennsylvannia, is 1957. He graduated from Scranton Preparatory School in 1975 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Lemoyne College in Syracuse, New York, in 1979 and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology with an emphasis in Cognitive Psychology from Ohio State University in 1984. Pusateri taught at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, from 1984 to 2003, serving as a Professor of Psychology and Assessment Director. In 2003 Pusateri moved to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, where he served as the Assessment Director until 2006. Dr. Pusateri has been at Kennesaw State University since 2006, holding the positions of Associate Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) and Professor of Psychology.</p> <p>Dr. Pusateri was the Executive Director for the Society for the Teaching of Psychology from 2000 to 2007. He was the recipient of the Board of Regent's Felton Jenkins Jr. Hall of Fame Faculty Award for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and the 2014 recipient of the KSU Foundation Distinguished Service Award.
