Oral history interview with William Campbell, a home front worker during WWII.
Description
Born in Oklahoma in 1937, William Campbell moved to Oklahoma City when his father was drafted into the military during World War II. For two years, Campbell lived in a barber shop with his mother and sister and depended on his grandparents for financial support. After college, Campbell got a job with the Lockheed Corporation and moved to Georgia. He recorded his oral history interview at Kennesaw State University in April 2017.
