Description
Dr. Hermanson is the Dinos Eminent Scholar Chair of Private Enterprise and a professor of Accounting in the School of Accountancy in the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University. He is the recipient of several awards, including the KSU Foundation Distinguished Professor Award in 2007; the KSU Foundation Distinguished Service Award (with Paul D. Lapides) in 2000; the KSU Foundation Distinguished Research & Creative Activity Award in 1999 and 2011; the 2020 recipient of the American Accounting Association Auditing Section Outstanding Educator Award; and in an annual ranking conducted by Brigham Young University of the most prolific accounting scholars in the world, based on publications in the twelve top academic accounting journals, he was 11th for the twenty-five years from 1995 to 2019 and 18th for the thirty years from 1990 to 2019. The transcript includes three separate interviews: April 19, 2005, conducted by Thomas Allan Scott and Dede Yow; September 23, 2014 and March 3, 2020, conducted by Thomas Allan Scott. It supersedes the transcripts combining the interviews from April 19, 2005 and September 23, 2014.
