Oral history interview with Jessica Duvall, KSU's Assistant Director of Strategic Planning, Assessment and Analysis.
Description
Jessica Duvall attended Kennesaw State University. She served as the inaugural full-time staff member of the LGBTQ Resource Center. In 2019 her role within Cultural and Community Centers transitioned to Assistant Director of Assessment, where she now works, alongside being a part-time instructor for American Studies. In this interview Duvall discusses her time as a student at KSU, namely her involvement in KPA (Kennesaw Pride Alliance), her role in submitting a proposal for a professionally staffed GLBTIQ resource center to the Chief Diversity Officer, where she later worked as the program coordinator. Duvall talks about her role in her position and various programs, initiatives, and community groups created and developed during her tenure.
